After school help is available every Tuesday in room 400 and other days as
requested, although a late bus is not available on Friday.
** Students spending time in GASP should read any
assigned essays and stories listed below that they have not read already in
class.

OUR OUTSIDE READING BOOK is Ethan Frome. Students should be finished reading this novel by March 27th and should bring their novels to the auditorium on Monday, where we will be meeting to schedule classes for next year.
During the month of February - We will be preparing for the HSPA (High School Proficiency Assessment) by practicing reading narratives and persuasive essays. We will also practice writing persuasive essays and picture prompt stories. In addition to our reading and writing, we will discuss test-taking strategies.
